I read a magical story today.. you see this thimble! I'd sent it to Roberta some time ago to thank her for a kit I'd won in her giveaway! Unfortunately the little thimble never arrived.. it had been stolen. All that Roberta found in her letter box was the empty envelope.. weeks went by and there was no hope for the thimble. God knows who could have taken it! Maybe some kids who thought the envelope with the little birdies drawn on it looked cute.. then a few days ago her little daughter was over at her neighbours-friend's house and her friend's mum was sewing and in her sewing box was the thimble (Roberta's daughter recognised it because of the birdies). The mother had found it on the ground outside! What a happy story!! The lost thimble is now back in Roberta's hand where it was supposed to be! You can't imagine how happy this makes me! :) There is a lovely Giveaway at Roberta's! She is giving away some pretty brooches! Go take a look!

Un'idea carina per il Natale
Another lovely place is the shop MY STYLE BAGS! (I'm not sure if it is around the world but maybe you can order online) You entre the shop, chose the bag, and have any writing embroidered on it (be it initials, name, nickname, a quote!! very fun and certainly a unique gift!) The embroidery part is machine done and it takes 1 or 2 minutes!

(A Bologna è in via D'Azeglio) Entrate nel negozio, scegliete la borsa che più vi piace e lì per lì potete decidere qualche scritta vorreste farci ricamare (le iniziali, nome, soprannome, un aforismo!! molto divertente e un regalo certamente unico!) Il ricamo è a macchina e impiega 1 o 2 minuti!

Ideas with Perfume Boxes

A perfume box generally comes in a pretty box with pretty colourful cardboard protection inside. you can decide to throw it all away or save it! Save it for what...? to wrap gifts or to store tiny things! I'll show you how!

Un profuno generalmente viene confezionato in una scatola carina dentro la quale troviamo una protezione in cartoncino. Sì può buttare via tutto oppure conservarlo! Ma per cosa...? Per confezionare regali o conservare piccole cose! Ecco come fare!

Sometimes you have to wrap tiny softies or objects that have weird shapes that are hard to wrap nicely. If you don't have a box around here is what you can do. You can use the colourful cardboard protecion you find inside perfume boxes. By taping it together you will create a second box. I suggest you put the tape on the inside so that when the person unwraps the gift the box looks more professional

A volte capita di regalare mini peluche, o oggetti piccoli che sono difficili da incartare in modo carino! Se non avete una scatola a portata di mano ecco che entra in scena la parte in cartoncino che troviamo dentro alla scatola del profumo. Con essa possiamo creare una seconda scatola. Un consiglio: mettete lo scotch all'interno così quando la pesona aprirà la scatola non lo vedrà e sembrerà più professionale.

Obviously you can also reuse the perfume box itself by reversing it so that there is no visible writing! Probably lots of you do this already! This is just a reminder ;)!

Ovviamente potete riutilizzare anche la scatola del profumo aprendola e reincollandola così l'interno diventa l'esterno e non è sponsorizzato! Molti di voi lo faranno già! Questo è solo un promemoria ;)!

Decorate with magazine cutouts or whatever inspires you and store things inside like tags, buttons, paperclips...
